Have been meaning to write this for a while as we've been in a new house for about 11 months now (which he also helped us buy!!) , but Erik Chavez from Victoria Street is an amazing realtor. He helped us sell our condo for more than we could have imagined in such a quick timeframe (while in escrow for buying our new house which can be super stressful). He is professional, responsible, knowledgeable and extremely trustworthy. He helped us sell our first property with ease and we would recommend him to anyone and everyone without hesitation.Our condo was located in Los Angeles and from the get go I knew we were in great hands. Within one weekend we had offers in the double digits and he was able to take us step by step through everything we needed to know about each one and what to consider (this was our first property we have ever sold). It was such a smooth experience throughout and he put in a ton of extra TLC that I feel anyone else would have not provided. Erik brings a ton of knowledge about appraisals, negotiation tactics, the price at which you should list and what you should expect, and a huge connection to other industry professionals that you have access to (like inspectors, pest people, etc) so you don't have to worry about finding those on your own or being taken advantage of price wise (and he pre-planned so much ahead so we were ready with anything the buyers might come at us with and also had the opportunity to fix anything in advance we wanted to or really should to make sure our condo sold for the most possible). He also has a great eye and his go to team for staging and photography/videography to make your property look the best it can be (since sometimes Van Nuys isn’t that pretty!)He was always available when we needed him and never took long to respond. Was very fast to respond to offers or questions from our buyers and was super diligent about getting the paperwork handled or having us sign whatever documents were needed. My husband and I truly enjoyed our experience house hunting with Erik Chavez. He was kind, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and patient working with us to find our first home. My husband and I aren't well off, but he managed to find very nice homes in great areas (and was sure to steer us away from dodgey neighborhoods). Late to post this as we've been in our new, beautiful home for about 11 months now, but Erik Chavez from Victoria Street is an amazing realtor. Look NO FURTHER for a trustworthy, professional, responsible, knowledgeable person to help with anything you need to buy or sell. Not once did we ever feel we were being taken advantage of and we always felt in great hands. Deets below, but really you can't go wrong with Erik. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone without hesitation. He went out with us for multiple weekends in a row to house hunt, and kept bringing us properties to see that worked with what we were looking for. Especially during Covid, it was tough since you couldn't just show up to an open house, so he meticulously mapped out the homes to see each day so we could capitalize and see as much as possible on the weekends when we were avail and not working. Erik brings a ton of knowledge about industry comps, appraisals, negotiation tactics, and a plethora of high level inspectors so you don't have to worry about finding those on your own or being taken advantage of price wise once you're in escrow. He was always available when we needed him and never took long to respond. In an insanely competitive market, he helped us navigate making offers, counters, and how to make ourselves stand out from the crowd. After 11 offers, with his help we were able to secure our dream home!
